Reflecting on my BMX journey for 2023

Reflecting on my BMX journey for 2023, this year stands out as the most exhilarating year so far. Being able to follow my passion and add globetrotting to the mix has been an indescribable experience.
I am very grateful for receiving the Tim DaSilva BMX Athlete of the Year award from Ontario Cycling.
I want to extend my sincere appreciation to London Wilmot and C-Yaa BMX frames for their unwavering encouragement and support as I explore opportunities with Cycling Canada. While my focus shifted from US racing to chasing my dreams of representing my country on the UCI circuit, it opened doors to the global stage and afforded me the chance to travel and race in Europe.
Regardless of the location, I take immense pride in representing my team and sponsors. Their support is the bedrock of my journey, enabling me to compete and thrive. To my sponsors, your invaluable assistance has been the key to unlocking these remarkable experiences, and I cannot thank you enough.
This year was my first major crash requiring surgery and a period of recovery. While challenging, this setback provided me with the opportunity to reflect on my choices, goals, and experiences. I take immense pride sharing with you that this ordeal has only fortified my determination to persist.
I am devoting all my energy to training, and eagerly await the arrival of 2024 to showcase my capabilities to the world and my devoted fans, showing you the resilience that defines my character and journey.
Thank you to my coaches, team, teammates, sponsors, fans, family and everyone else who supports me and I wish you all the best for the holiday season.
